Since 2015 Tse Tse Fly Middle East have produced a number of live events, albums and radio programmes. We are home to a team of producers, film-makers, graphic artists and administrators that make things happen.

The Tse Tse Fly Middle East Radio Programme - since 2015 Tse Tse Fly founder Simon Coates has produced a monthly two-hour radio programme for UK arts station Resonance EXTRA. Intended to support under-represented artists, the programme features experimental music from the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent.
Tse Tse Fly Further East - a series of one-hour programmes produced for Resonance EXTRA in 2016 that showcased the experimental music scenes in South East Asian countries, produced by Coates and narrated by Filipina collective member X.
Ubu Kung Sound - the Ubu Kung Sound radio programme is a monthly, one-hour mix of new music and found sounds put together for Moscow-based radio station New New World Radio.

Starting life as a monthly club residency in Dubai in the UAE, Tse Tse Fly Middle East have produced live film and music events for a number of arts organisations and festivals. Full details on our projects page here.

Tse Tse Fly Middle East have produced three albums of recorded music: Easy Listening Vol.1 for UK label Must Die Records (2016), the self-released 2018 set Instruments of the State and 2019's These Are Our Friends Too. Easy Listening Vol.1 was released on CD, double vinyl and digital download. Instruments of the State was released as a digital download and two limited edition USBs. These Are Our Friends Too was released as a digital download.
Following a request from the British Library a selection of our sound and video work has been added to their Sound and Moving Image archive.
